Video: 1970: Angola: Incredible Portuguese mother beats Black terrorists in a gunfight
In this video I discuss two feats of courage by white civilians during war in southern Africa. The one is a feat by a 16 year old white boy, and the other, much more incredible story is what a 28 year old Portuguese mother did in Angola.

[I've never really known or cared much about De Gaulle, but he is responsible for France being the single most independent military nation in Europe! Now that Trump is trying to shunt the Europeans around, the French are perfectly placed to help all of Europe! Macron has spoken about sharing nukes with Germany before! Now he wants to share it with other countries! This is awesome. Jan]

Charles de Gaulle expressed skepticism about Europe’s ability to rely on the United States in the long run. Throughout his presidency (1959–1969), he was deeply concerned about European independence, particularly from American influence. He believed that Europe, especially France, should not be overly dependent on the U.S. for security and economic stability.

Some of his notable actions and statements that reflect this view include:

Withdrawal from NATO’s Military Command (1966) – De Gaulle pulled France out of NATO’s integrated military structure, arguing that the alliance was too dominated by the U.S. He wanted France to have independent military and nuclear capabilities.

Criticism of U.S. Influence in Europe – He often warned that the U.S. pursued its own interests first and that Europe needed to establish its own independent policies.

Gold and the U.S. Dollar (1965) – De Gaulle criticized the Bretton Woods system, which made the U.S. dollar the world’s reserve currency. He doubted the long-term reliability of the U.S. economic system and started exchanging French-held dollars for gold, challenging American financial dominance.

Here is a very important story from my old AfricanCrisis archive. This shows you how unhappy American Generals were about attacking Iran. I bet that it‘s still very similar. They know it‘s too difficult.
