Video: Decapitation: How the Boers dealt with violent crowds of Blacks
A young Boer I knew, Gilbert, told me of the time in the early 1990s when he served in the South African Army and was stationed in the townships. He described the tactics the Boers used to smash violent black crowds with a minimum loss of life.

I’m busy watching a documentary I taped from The History Channel. It is World War II – The Lost Evidence. The episode I’m watching is about D-Day and all the fabulous stories of D-Day from both the German and Allied side. Very interesting stuff indeed, with much heroics and incredible tales all around.

I must tell you about the amazing British DD Tank! But, that’s for later.

One of the American soldiers interviewed who had been at Omaha beach, where the Americans suffered dreadful casualties, was interviewed and he told the following story. He said they had captured their first German troops and he was surprised by what he saw. They were not at all what he had expected. He had expected these strapping huge (blonde??) men. Instead, here was this scrawny little fellow.

An American was interrogating him, and the German responded with: Name, Rank, Serial number. The American asked him about minefields and German defensive positions. Again the little German refused to co-operate and he responded with Name, Rank and Serial number.

Then the American, starting to get angry, decided to scare and intimidate the German soldier. So he put his rifle between the German’s legs and fired a shot.

The little German soldier then looked up at him and pointed with his own finger at his own forehead – indicating – YOU MUST SHOOT ME HERE – IN THE FOREHEAD!!!!

The Americans were completely taken aback by this attitude!!

The American veteran then said that the Germans didn’t look tough… but boy they were really TOUGH!!
