[Christmas is merely a more recent version of something much older, so I have referred to it in order of AGE! As Carolyn Emerick pointed out in her magazine EuropaSun, when the Roman Empire adopted Christianity, the whites Europeanised Christianity – and many pagan things became woven into what we call Christianity and Christmas is one of them. It is a much older tradition, celebrating mid-winter and the fact that from here onwards, summer is coming.
