[The nice Whites at Front Nationale did a little tribute to Eva Hitler on her birthday which is today! They have some nice photos of her. There are some I've never seen before. The one of her in the office at a desk could have been taken yesterday, it looks so "modern". Jan]

On This Day Eva Hitler was born in Munich, the second daughter of school teacher Friedrich "Fritz" Braun (1879–1964) and Franziska "Fanny" Kronberger (1885–1976); her mother had worked as a seamstress before her marriage.
She had an elder sister, Ilse (1909–1979), and a younger sister, Margarete (Gretl) (1915–1987).
