[This is so freaking cool. I've never heard of a draisine before in my life. It's yet another German creation. Look at the simple and efficient German use of the railway line which is an amazing invention by itself. Railway lines are the cheapest way to move anything on land. Nothing is more efficient. But combine it with some free wind power!!! This is right up my alley. This is super efficient German thinking. In South Africa, we'd call it: 'n Boer maak a plan. A Boer makes a plan. This is genuine European thinking. It's awesome. If only we had more faith in ourselves as a group and a race. The Germans were amazing on the Eastern Front – the greatest war in the history of the world, and one where America lowered itself to the lowest it's ever been by massively arming the Russians. Jan]

This is the best book Ive read about Rhodesia which describes the life of a young soldier who is in the Fire force. These guys were called into battle several times a day and the fighting was hectic. This book is very well written and you never get bored.
