Video: Ukrainian invasion of Russia continues: Five Ukrainian brigades control 400 square miles of Kursk region in Russia

[This is very interesting. These are not FULL BRIGADES. These are partial brigades but they seem to be made up of very experienced Ukrainian troops and the Ukrainians have brought heavy weaponry like Himars and they've been killing the Russians. The most important fact is that the Ukrainians are DIGGING IN. This is exactly what I was thinking about – that the Ukrainians are going to force the Russians to have to fight them and drive them back into Ukraine. The fact that more Ukrainian troops are constantly pouring in, shows that this is a very serious matter and the Ukrainians are here to prove a point. As many as 75,000 Russians may have been evacuated from the region. Ukrainians also smashed the silly Chechens and hurt them. I think this might be a new kind of tactic whereby the Ukrainians use a surprise attack to seize territory and then they will make the Russians pay very dearly for every inch. The Russians aren't very good soldiers, so they use insane amounts of artillery. The Russians will COMPLETELY DESTROY THEIR OWN VILLAGES AND LAY WASTE TO EVERYTHING BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY THE RUSSIANS CAN FIGHT. We need to see how many Ukrainian troops eventually enter this area. Does it stop at 5 (partial) Brigades or will they add to this? These are experienced and battle hardened Ukrainians, so the Russians are in for a real fight. This battle may serve many purposes including scaring RUSSIANS and showing Russians that WAR can come to them IN RUSSIA. I think the Ukrainians might be convinced that if they fight in this style that they could wear Russia down in a big way. This attack may be extremely critical. If this goes well, then the Ukrainians may have finally found a way to turn things against the Russians. Jan]
