South Africa: MADNESS: Govt arrested 342,000 people in less than a year over COVID…

I just want to show you, how freaking seriously the Govt is using its powers in SA in its apparent efforts to contain the Chinese Flu, COVID. This is a critical sentence from a bigger report. Just wrap your head around this one. I am certain, in the history of South Africa, even under Apartheid during the worst violence, we never saw so many arrests. Here’s the sentence:

Since the start of the National Lockdown in March 2020, over 342 000 people have been arrested for contravening the Disaster Management Act.
