Message from Jan: I’m busy with important software…

This is just a note that I’m not going to be as chatty and posting as much on my websites in the next day or two because I’m busy with some important software that I’ve wanted to write and put on my websites for years now.

About 15+ years ago I wrote a certain piece of software for my old, original AfricanCrisis website and the websites that came afterwards, and it served a certain purpose that I liked very much. I’ve been wanting to rewrite it for the newer websites to make it work on them. The process is however very tricky because a lot of things have changed.

I’m finally busy with it and have got through the worst part. But there is still a lot of work to do, and I’m going to try to see if I can get it finished and live on my websites in the next week. So it’s a high priority for me.

Once it is on, you’ll be able to see it and I hope you find it interesting.

I have vowed that this year, come hell or high water, I must make progress on software that I’ve been planning to do and talking about for years. This is one of those enhancements.
