Mob still on the loose.
A 20-year-old German man has died after being beaten into a coma on Sunday by a gang of migrant youths in the North Rhine-Westphalia town of Bad Oeynhausen.
Philippos and his 19-year-old friend were returning home from a graduation party at around 1:30am when they were ambushed by a mob of around 10 migrant males and viciously attacked.
The perpetrators were described as “Southern” by German authorities and the media, which is a euphemism for migrants of Maghreb or Arab origin.
The two young men were punched to the ground and then kicked repeatedly as they lay defenseless.
Witnesses called the police as the gang casually walked away from the scene of the beating into the town center.
“The victims were hospitalized as a result of their injuries, but Philippos was particularly hurt and was induced into a protective coma which he sadly never woke up from,” reports Remix News.
“Philippos was declared brain dead on Monday evening and died in Minden Hospital on Tuesday.”
The Ratsgymnasium Minden school confirmed that Philippos was the brother of one of their students who had also attended the party.
“We were horrified to learn of the physical altercation in Bad Oeynhausen, in which a relative of a high school graduate from our school was critically injured,” said the statement.
“We are deeply saddened that this very festive day of dismissal and graduation for the students is overshadowed by these events.”
The migrant mob responsible for the attack are still on the loose and police have urged the gang to hand themselves in, which is unlikely to happen.
A GoFundMe for the victims and their families raised over €62,000 euros, but was disabled after news of Philippos’ death.

German authorities are now handing out prison time to people who insulted a bunch of convicted gang rapists, in at least one case giving a woman more prison time than almost all of the gang rapists themselves.
Statistics released by the German government revealed that around 6 in 10 violent crimes recorded in Germany are committed by migrants.
