[I've been looking into NAZI economics, which remains the most important alternative economic system to ever be invented, and it is unquestionably the best. However, Paul Fromm in Canada often mentions SOCIAL CREDIT. I did a bit of digging and the best example I can find of someone implementing Douglas's idea seems to have been on Guernsey Island. Jan]

Here’s a short summary of it, and it definitely seemed to work:
The island of Guernsey implemented a small-scale monetary experiment inspired by Social Credit ideas.

To fund public works, the local government issued its own currency, bypassing traditional banks. This initiative successfully improved the local economy without incurring debt.

While not officially tied to Douglas, the approach reflected his emphasis on government-issued credit for public benefit.
