Kyle Rittenhouse has called on new Twitter boss Elon Musk to release any files he may have that could shed light on the censorship efforts by social media companies regarding the young gun rights advocate’s trial.
Rittenhouse famously stood trial on phony murder charges after he was forced to shoot violent attackers in self-defense during a Black Lives Matter riot in 2020.
Of course, the teen was acquitted by the jury.
However, before, during, and even after his trial, he was still smeared as a “murderer” by the media, “woke” celebrities, and politicians, including Democrat President Joe Biden.
Some users on Big Tech platforms such as Facebook and Twitter were even penalized for speaking out in Rittenhouse’s defense.
Now that Musk is publishing the bombshell “Twitter Files” and exposing censorship efforts, Rittenhouse believes there may be more to his story than we’ve seen.
“I think something people who believe we are overreacting about what was found in the Twitter files overlook is that lies break trust and show the character of someone,” Rittenhouse said.
“We now have every reason to believe there was more lies and corruption beyond twitter.
“If someone is willing to lie about one thing, typically they will lie about another.
“Learning about the Twitter files and @elonmusk releasing the truth is making me more and more curious to find out if there was hidden censoring regarding my story and case on Twitter.
“I am hoping, one day soon, I will be able to find out and the truth will be shown to all of us.”
Rittenhouse asked Musk directly to release his files:
“Would you consider releasing the censoring done regarding my trial?”
Rittenhouse continued:
“With the media and fake news constantly spreading lies and being trusted, the truth coming out is astonishing.
“Even if nothing else happens because of it, I hope at least people realize that not everything they hear from the media and news is true and factual.
“There’s a lot of big things coming this next year and I’m excited to tell all of you and keep fighting and speaking out for our Constitutional rights!
“Praying for Elon Musk’s safety.
“It is sad that someone can become a hated figure simply for doing what is right and shedding light on lies.”
Rittenhouse added some inspirational quotes from one of history’s greatest leaders, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher:
“I always cheer up immensely if an attack is particularly wounding because I think, well, if they attack one personally, it means they have not a single political argument left.
“You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it.”
