I had heard before that when the first Americans (Whites of course) fought the British that they were trained by the Prussians. But I did not know exactly who. It turns out Baron Von Steuben was the Prussian who was hired to figure out a method of training the Americans so they could fight the British. White Americans had to be trained to match European professionals. And this is the story of how they did it!
