Prosecutors Tuesday accused a Staten Island woman of leaving swastika stickers and anti-Semitic flyers on private property around her neighborhood in the days after the 2020 presidential election.

Gina Aversano, 49, affixed the Nazi symbol on a boulder at Wolfe’s Pond Park on Nov. 4, and on a van near Tysens Lane in New Dorp on Nov. 5, according to a criminal complaint.

Sometime between New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, she also glued a flyer reading “Antifa is a Jewish Communist Militia” on a sign at a Stop & Shop on Hylan Blvd., and on a parking meter on New Dorp Lane, prosecutors said.

The flyers also make reference to the New Jersey European Heritage Association, which the Anti-Defamation League refers to as a “small white supremacist group whose members see themselves as defenders of white European people and white culture.”

Police tracked the stickers and flyers to Aversano through her social media postings and messaging apps like Telegram, law enforcement sources said.

She was charged with felony aggravated harassment, and several counts of making graffiti, and released on her own recognizance at a Staten Island criminal court arraignment Tuesday.
