[This is a quick note. I'm running behind schedule. But to my horror almost a week ago Alfred Schaefer was arrested simply for remembering the dead in Dresden. I'm trying to get additional info. He's not in jail currently. So I'm not sure what the hell they charged him with. I'll publish what I know as soon as I get more info. Jan]
Alfred Schaefer was arrested in Dresden on 11 Feb 2023 for the audacity of remembering the hundreds of thousands of murdered Germans by the terror bombing of that city in 1945.
