Putin warns the West of War – Again – Doing some serious Sabre rattling

Putin warns the West of war (again). The key issue here is that Ukraine has been running to the UK and the US asking for permissions to use ATACMS and Storm Shadow and other missiles INSIDE RUSSIA and it seems the British and Americans are just not giving that permission. Putin is realising that there is this weakness in the West and so he’s making his own counter threats. I think the Russians are busy with the biggest naval(?) exercises since the Cold War. The Ukrainians need to strike inside Russia to try to disrupt Russian logistics – and the Russians seem to be moving their bases and equipment further from Ukraine out of reach of Ukrainian weapons, but the Ukrainians want to reach the Russian stuff. There SEEM TO BE – and we can’t be sure – lots of weird things happening in Russia: Trains being derailed and lots of fires, including fires that burn oil storage tanks and last for days. Plus the other day Ukraine launched 144 drones against Moscow. It killed one person. The drones did not do much damage – they hit apartment buildings – but it serves the purpose of "terror" and making Russians uncomfortable. Apparently Moscow is served by 3 airports and most of them shut down for a couple of hours. The Ukrainians are taking strain. They’ve been mass calling up men to fight. So Putin’s threats need to be seen in the light of scaring the Americans and British regarding war. HOWEVER, keep in mind, that Putin is struggling against a country with less than 1/3rd of Russia’s population. *COULD PUTIN REALLY GO TO WAR AGAINST BRITAIN AND AMERICA? No he can’t. Putin would not stand a chance against America. But you need to see his boldness versus their weakness. It doesn’t look to me as if the Ukrainians are likely to get the go-ahead to use missiles. They will have to try to get their own ballistic missile working. We will have to see how long that takes. We’ve not seen it, and we have no idea how long it will take for them to get it working. Of their own new weapons, the long range jet drone seems to have been the most effective.
