Hi Supporters of Matthew F. Hale,

Here are Matt’s book, music and movie selections for May, 52 AC (2025 old year).

Book of the Month: God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything by Christopher Hitchens

Music of the Month: The Firebird Suite (1919 Version) by Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971)

Movie of the Month: No movie selection for this month

Matt’s Book, Music and Movie Selections from March, 44 AC (2017) to May, 52 AC (2025).

See the two attached documents for this month’s updates in The Civil Rights Case.

Document 83 details why Matt has chosen to dismiss his legal counsel in the case, who also happens to be his cousin.

I do think that unless Matt’s cousin was already financially independent, his peers from the bar probably influenced him to not put in a genuine effort into Matt’s case. As a lawyer, he was in the best position of anyone to ask President Trump, through his representatives, to commute Matt’s sentence or pardon him. He refused to do this or much of anything for Matt, unfortunately.

Doc 84 is the defendants’ response to Matt’s dismissal of his counsel.

Free Matt Hale!
