Tehran (ISNA) – The Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh said, the process of HESA Kowsar fighter jet development is quickly underway.
He expressed hope to involve three totally Iranian Kowsar fighter jets in a military parade on April 17.
The aircraft is equipped with new fourth generation avionics in combination with an advanced fire control system.
This fighter jet has advanced avionics and multipurpose radar, and it was 100-percent indigenously made. It also uses digital data networks, a glass cockpit, heads-up display (HUD), ballistic computers and smart mobile mapping systems.
