S.Africa: Survey: Its not unusual for married Black men to have sex with other men
In much of Africa sex with men is despised. But in S.Africa it‘s not. FORGET about the other woman a fair number of married men in South Africa are getting their kicks in secret with other men.
Jed Handelsman Shugerman, a prominent law professor at Boston University, argued Wednesday that the reason Donald Trump won and Kamala Harris lost the 2024 presidential race is due to “toxic masculinity” and “white supremacy.”
“Anyone blaming Harris or Walz today has utterly lost the plot & missed the point. This is fundamentally about America, toxic masculinity, & white supremacy. Blaming Harris would be part of that problem, not the solution,” the professor posted on X early Wednesday morning. “She deserves our thanks. Thank you, @vp @KamalaHarris.”
In a follow-up post, he argued Harris “ran a solid, energetic, inspiring, strategic, & disciplined campaign in less time than anyone in modern US history. You made us proud to be on the right side of history and the humane side of humanity.”
The post quickly went viral, amassing more than 169,000 views during Wednesday’s morning hours.
Shugerman is a prolific legal pundit, with a regular column in Slate, a contributor to The New York Times, and his own blog, on which he had predicted a Harris-Walz victory the morning of Election Day.
“Prediction: Harris-Walz 292-246. Blue wall plus NE2 (which gets to 270), plus very close wins in NC and NV. Yes, North Carolina is my underdog call,” he posted.
Although he is known as a liberal, he is a respected legal scholar on the topics of constitutional law and governance, co-authoring “amicus briefs on the history of presidential power, the Emoluments Clauses, the Appointments Clause, the First Amendment rights of elected judges, and the due process problems of elected judges in death penalty cases,” according to his faculty bio.
But his post on X prompted several dissenting opinions.
One of the most-liked responses stated: “As someone who dreams to see the universities where you work closed and their endowments seized, I agree with this messaging. Keep going!”
As The College Fix also reported, an English instructor at the University of South Carolina argued that the results of the election show “uneducated” Americans are holding the country “hostage.”
“There is a reason why educated people vote blue. What we’re seeing is the uneducated population of America holding the rest of the country hostage,” Sueanna Smith wrote on X last night. “This is why there’s such a push to weaken education, ban books, and outlaw the teaching of Black history by the Republican Party.”
