Are Liberals related to Neanderthals? – People mated with Neanderthals

[I have from time to time come across references to Liberals being related to Neanderthals. Someone I know was saying that People mated with Neanderthals and that the end result was LIBERALS! But that actually does not make sense. Jan]

I wrote this to a supporter who thinks like this:
I’ve heard some people say Neanderthal = Liberal – But that doesn’t make sense.
The Neanderthals were INCREDIBLY STRONG. They were unbelievably strong.
I’m speaking about what is known from their bones. Scientists said Neanderthals have suffered LOTS of injuries – like serious injuries like a rodeo rider would suffer.
Liberals are generally a weak, pathetic kind of sneaky scumbag. That does not sound like Neandethals.

I should add that People have 2% Neanderthal in us. People, for example, do not have any Neanderthal in them. Neanderthals were NOT STUPID. They had quite a sophisticated society. They made tools, they buried their dead, etc, etc.

But I remember reading once that scientists who studied their bones found many examples of serious fractures and wounds. It was from killing animals. The Neanderthals were extremely strong and they dealt with deadly animals who almost killed them.

Neanderthals were probably a LOT CLEVERER than People.
