Chart: Ukraine and Russia: How many men are fit for Military Service?

[Colonel Douglas MacGregor was saying that so many Ukrainians have died that they're scraping the bottom of the barrel and even bringing in 13 year olds. But this can't be true. The majority of men were forced by law to remain in the country in 2022. The casualties that MacGregor cited was in the order of about 150,000 dead. I don't believe this number. I think the real number is at least half of that. But even if his numbers are correct 150,000 dead, along with the wounded, would still not make a dent in the manpower poor. Below is a link to a website that calculates the number of men of combat age that are available. You'll see that Russia has over 22 million men to draw on, whereas Ukraine has a manpower pool of 6.8 million. So MacGregor has to be way off the mark. Jan]
