[This is a strange development. The leader of Belarus is a close friend of Putin. But he definitely seems to be resisting at all costs, getting Belarus into this war. That is genuine. It is as if he is trying diplomacy on behalf of Putin. This is talk and I don't take it seriously. I don't think either Biden or Putin will move forward on this. The fight is on and it will rage on. From what happened here in Africa, in Rhodesia, I am skeptical about all kinds of "peace talks". Often it was just a trick. Jan]
