“In 1857, the leaders of the Rothschild family were gathered to celebrate the wedding of the daughter of Lionel Rothschild to her cousin, the son of James Rothschild, of the French Rothschilds. Benjamin Disraeli, as a guest at this gala event, proclaimed: “Under this roof are the heads of the family of Rothschild; a name famous in every capital of Europe and every division of the globe.
