Polls: Excellent: Voters Support Trump’s Decision Not to Attend Biden Inauguration, Expect Peaceful Transition

President Trump provoked controversy when he announced last week that he would not attend President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration, but most voters appear to support Trump’s decision.

Only 20% of Likely U.S. Voters think it would be better for the country if Trump attends Biden’s inauguration next week. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 32% say it would be worse for the country if Trump attends Biden’s inauguration, and 41% say it will have no impact.
